__"One
of the features we're most proud of is the fact that we were
able to create a 'mega-salon' but still achieve a feeling of
intimacy for every client," says co-owner Louis Tedeschi
of his newly opened Louis Christian Wayne Robert Salon &
Spa in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. "We've used lighting along
with the feeling of height and color to change the mood of each
space, so the client feels like she's in a special place wherever
she goes."
__Tedeschi says that in the owners'
previous salon, the colors were more vibrant and the feeling
was much more high energy. With this salon, the decor was designed
to be soothing, simple and pure.
__"Times are changing,"
says Tedeschi. "These days clients want both the salon
and the spa to be a relaxing environment."
__In the salon, an air of relaxation
was created with freestanding mirrors, which float over a white
glowing fabric curtain, and pendant lighting that hovers above.
__Tedeschi's favorite space is
the spa relaxation room, which serves as a transition point
between the salon and spa. The oval, Zen-inspired "decompression
zone" is soft, scented, soothing and modern. |

very 'Armani Casa.' I love the high contrast - dark
